A New Year Blessing for Families

Lord, turn your face towards me.

In the morning. In the evening. And in every moment in between.

I invite you to go before me. 

No! I need you to go before me. 

Stir within me a daily revival so I constantly proclaim YOU are my God. 

Don’t let me out of Your sight.

Meet with me. Draw me close. Ground my roots deep in Your word. 

Your guidance, your grace, your favor, your peace, your rest.

Your blessings, Lord, oh how I need all of You. All of the time.

Show me Your glory. Teach me to lead my children like You lead me. Help me be the example for them to draw close to You. Let my story of redemption and hope found in You be a guidepost for them and their children and for the thousand generations that follow. 

I boldly ask for you to turn your face to my family and allow us all to enter the holiness of your presence. Claim Us. Walk with us. Carry us. Lead Us. Bless us. Give Us Rest.

Lord, You are my God and my children and their children are yours to lead. Know us by name. Give us Your immediate and abundant presence. I boldly claim that You are FOR ME, FOR MY CHILDREN, FOR MY CHILDREN’S CHILDREN. 

May Your favor be upon me and for a thousand generations.
